Comment:

For those who grew up reading the journals of the late publisher Bruguera, the name of Manuel Vázquez is associated with the successful reading of the adventures of Anacleto Feliciano, Granny Peace, Angelito (Gugu), Gilda sisters and a long list of short comics that populated for decades the various headers of the company's black cat. In those days, only Francisco Ibáñez has maintained the level of popularity, changing the appearance of albums from various newspapers and magazines focusing exclusively on Mortadelo and Philemon. However, although the creator of Rompetechos, saccharin or Pepe Otilio Gotera and often one whose name appears first when it searches the memory "brugueriana" Vazquez is generally recognized as the true genius of a sadly bygone generation of artists. What Ibanez got to be a hard worker pen, Vazquez had him as a natural talent, so testify scholars and colleagues of those times. A notable example of its capabilities can be found in this volume that has taken Glénat, drawing out of the film The Great Vázquez, Santiago Segura which assumes the task of impersonating one of the most fascinating authors gave Spain.
